The Wedding Photography Process // Two of Blooms

While I'm a photographer by title, I'm also a boutonniere pinner, a dress holder for bathroom breaks, and drunk groomsman wrangler. Wedding days are a beautiful type of chaos which requires the loving hand of many. My main focus is telling your story, but whatever else you may need along the way, I've got you.

I think the best way for us to have an authentic working relationship is for us to be friends first. I want to know all about the two of you. What makes you individuals? What makes you a wonderful unit? By the time you're walking down the aisle, I want to feel like a close friend you're happy to be sharing your day with.

Your day is comprised of perfect and ornate details merging together to create one unique celebration. From the fog outside your window while you get ready, to tears welling in the eyes of those who come to support you, these shots are easy to miss without the right eye. I've got that eye. I won't miss a thing.

THE INVESTMENT

This can feel like a scary word, but I chose 'investment' because this isn't just an exchanging of services for money. Our time together is lovingly spent creating photographs that will help you relive the biggest day of your life, for the rest of your life. This isn't a job I take lightly. Someday, these photos will find themselves in the lap of your kids, and in the laps of their kids as they learn about the foundation of their family tree. That's big and I don't take it lightly!

At the end of the day, the cake will be eaten, your clothes will be dirty, and your bouquet will have wilted. Without photographs to properly show those details, and the feelings you felt while enjoying them, the time & money you put into them can easily go to waste. This investment preserves your other investments.
